Guildford

This is just continuing from yesterdays post really.

We went to tesco's and bought stuff to make a stir-fry and a fair bit of alcohol. Grannnnnd.

We got back to the house and Rich proceeded to begin work on the dinner. Steve helped him as well. My GOD, it was THE nicest stir-fry I've ever had in my life. Words can't even describe it. Only us four will taste such genius cooking! Haha.

After dinner...DRINKING TIME! Bang on it. Rich made us all a snakebite! Love itttt! Then we got an empty 2 litre bottle and filled it with loads of random alcohol. We decided to play arrogance and if you got it wrong you had to take some of the drink. This drink was really nice (or so me and Steve thought) at first...but once getting to the bottom it was GROSS. But hey-ho it got us a little bit tipsy/drunk. Rich made a nice little playlist on his 'macer' for us to listen to and we just chilled! Spent some time relaxing and talking in Steve's room and it was just a really good night. It was nice to just be able to spend an evening with Steve and Rich rather than having to go out! Who says you need Harper's for a good night eh?!

I feel good about things today. Certain stuffs been going on but I think it's all been sorted now. I hope. I want things to just be good, with no problems, like before, and hopefully they will be from now on! I think they will be. I think some kind of common ground has been found. It's good.

This morning Steve rudely stood over me kicking me until I rose from the floor. :(. So tired. He took me to his lecture! I was so scared incase I got asked a question haha. It was cool to see where the academy is and stuff. Their lectures are SO different to at UKC. There's a lot less people and so they can interact with the lecturer and have jokes and stuff between them. It was really cool to actually see what my best mate's doing first hand. I'm glad I went.

After that we met Rich in spoons and went to MacDonalds so the fatty's could eat lunch before their next class/lecture. Walked back to ACM and then left them there so I could walk back to the house alone. :( Didn't want to say goodbye. I had such an awesome time yesterday I didn't want it to end but, oh well! There'll always be a next time.

I actually found my way back to their house! I was proud. I packed my stuff and dad came and got me. Was really weird being in their house alone like that. I didn't like it much.

Got home and I've just been chillaxing all evening. No plans tomorrow. Booooo. I'll try to get all my work done so I can rave on Thursday night! Zoop zoop!

Peace x

First weekend of Reading Week...

READING WEEK THIS ZOOP ZOOP!!!

I came back to Romford on Friday night. It was sad to say goodbye to flat 4. :( They've got so much planned this week it sucks I'm gonna miss out on it but hey-ho, there'll be other times to rave with them (every day pretty much haha).

I came back and chilled on Fridee night. Lindsey's parents gave me a lift home. Boring nightttt.

Saturday I slept alot and chilled in the evening. I'm in love with Diana. End of really.

Sunday I saw my nan. It was cool. :) I miss her. And then last night I got the trains and stuff back to Guildford with Cleaveage! I've missed this place. The stupid Jubilee line wasn't working so we had to get the bus instead but apart from that we got here fairly eaaaasy. Good to see the house again. :). And Rich! He's missed me that kid! Haha.

Todaaaaay. I woke up. Chilled in the house, did some of my work, then Steve and Matt got home a while ago. Going tesco's in a bit to get food/drink and I'm gonna get drunk tonight even if they don't. It'll be good. Ha. :)

That's it really. Short post!

WISHICOULDGOCARNAGETOMORROWNIGHT. :(:(:(. Oh welllllll!

Peace x

Hush little baby don't you cry...

...EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHTTTTTTT,
STIFFEN THAT UPPER LIP UP LITTLE LADDDYYY
I TOLD YE DADDY'S HERE TO HOLD YOU THROUGH THE NIGHT.

I KNOW MUMMY'S NOT HERE RIGHT NOW,
AND WE DON'T KNOW WHY WE FEEL HOW FEEL INSIDE,
IT MAY SEEM A LITTLE CRAZY PRETTY BABY,
BUT I PROMISE MAMA'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT.

AND IF YOU ASK ME TO DADDY'S GONNA BUY YOU A MOCKINGBIRD,
I'M GON' GIVE YOU THE WORLD,
IMA BUY A DIAMOND RING FOR YOU,
IMA SING FOR YOU
I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU TO SEE YOU SMILE.

AND IF THAT MOCKINGBIRD DON'T SING,
AND IT RAIN DON'T SHINE, IMA BREAK THAT BIRDIE'S NECK,
I'LL GO BACK TO THE JEWELER WHO SOLD IT TO YA
AND MAKE HIM EAT EVERY KARAT DON'T FUCK WITH THAT.

Eminem used to be such an icon. I miss that.

This week has been quite slow and boring really.

I don't remember when I last wrote this so I'll just do this week and assume I already wrote about last weekend. It's been the same ole same ole of lectures and seminars. Everyone went out on Tuesday night and got nice and drunk but I decided to stay in and do work because I don't wanna have to do much when I'm at home this week.

One night (I don't remember which) Zoe made us watch 'P.S I love you' because apparently you 'can't watch it without crying' and if Ollie didn't cry she'd pay him a fiver. Me and Ollie both managed to not cry because the film was boring and there wasn't even anything to really be sad about. Zoe owes him a fiver. Gutted.

I really can't remember what's gone in this week. Lindsey's been around a lot showering and stuff. I spent the other night chilling with China a fair bit also. That was nice. I don't like her much but she is still good company as are all of flat 4. I'm lucky with the flat mates. We spent most of the night checking out people's facebooks, laughing at their pictures etc. It was fun. Zoe also made me watch Desperate Housewives this night. That was not fun. Lee loved it though.

Last night a few of us went to Chill in town. It was a good night. Really cheap as well which is always a plus. It'll be good to go back when all of our group go. China made me go up on the little stage thing where all the 'gangsters' were dancing behind the DJ haha. It was so funny. She was in her element, knowing all the dances to songs I'd never even heard. So funny. I raved to Dizzee as well. It's a must on a night out really. He is still my idol.

I'm going back to Romford tonight for reading week. 10 days I'm away for. Flat 4 are actual all really depressed. I am the life and soul of this flat and without me they will do nothing but sit in silence and cry. I will be missed. Haha. I'll miss them as well. I hope I want to come back but I don't think I will want to so I'll probably be really down next weekend when I return. Oh well. I'll get over it.

I'm excited to see people from back home. Should be good to go Opium on Thursday. I've missed it. Halloween should be good. Unsure what I'm doing yet though. I should be going to Guildford to see Rich and Steve one day as well which will be fun.

I'll write another one of these in a few days I guess. Or maybe once I've come back here.

I'm going to the library with Naomi now to write some more of our assignment. Funfunfun. She got drunk last night. :) It was funny.

Sunday 19 October 2008

The weekend and stuff

I don't remember when I last wrote this. I think maybe Thursday about Wednesday? Hmm.

Anyways, Friday was cool. Day off, didn't do all that much really.

Me and Naomi went to the library to get books/journals for our first assignment, my God it was an experience haha. Firstly, this library is five floors. It has different wings as well. So it's basically just massive. I had no clue where I was going because me, being me, decided to sleep rather than do the library tour during freshers, fair play to me though I think? Anyways, Naomi kind of knew her way around so we made it to the area for our subject. Then we bumped into a randomer from our seminar and was asking what topic they're doing theirs on etc to which some random guy appeared from round the corner and asked us to 'be a bit quiet please' haha. Naomi thought he was joking and so point blank laughed in his face ha. So funny. She blamed me for being the loud one because I can't whisper.

Anyways, after that it took us AGES to find books on the topics we wanted. We finally did. Then we sat for about an hour looking through journals to find articles on the topics as well. Naomi got annoyed because she couldn't take any of hers out, I was gloating because I had about 10 I could take out. OR SO I THOUGHT, it was only as we were about to leave that I realised I couldn't take them hahahaha. She laughed at me a lot. So after hiding her one journal up high so no-one else would find it we went to check out.

We have to check ourselves out and each book we both scanned it came up 'ERROR RE-SCAN' but it was appearing on the checked out list. So we just did them all and printed the receipts. HOWEVER, on exiting the library, both of us set of the alarms haha. How embarassing.

Finally we left, after an hour and 45 minutes in the place! What an effort. So funny though.

Friday night I just chilled with the remaining flat four guys. Watched a movie, chatted, the usual.

Yesterday me and Linds went into town in the morning to buy munch bunch and coke for me, and milk, bread and general items for her. We went to a cafe for breakfast first though. It was only after twenty minutes of waiting to have our order taken that we realised you're meant to go to the till to order haha. TESCO DID NOT HAVE THE MUNCH BUNCH I LIKE. So I now have NONE left. This is not good. I eat about 8 a week. Maybe more. :( I'll order some online I think. :) We came home after and I just chilled, rather than reading, in my room most the afternoon. "Oops".

Last night me, Linds and Zoe went to The Venue, it was 999 night and they had costumes. The others went to town but I decided girls in short nurse outfits was more appealing. I seemed to get quite drunk because we kept going to the shots bar. Ha. At one point my g style came out and I was really going for it to flex. Two girls behind were laughing at me. They wish THEY were this gangstarrrr. Haha.

We danced a lot to random songs and it was a really good night.

We came home, chilled in the kitchen with Nay, Lee, Megan, Ollie (Until he passed out haha) and some random guy. It was cool. Nay and Megan were telling us about their travelling they did this year. It seems really cool and I wish I had the money to do it. I hope I will some day.

Today I'm reading and writing some stuff I have to do for one of my seminars tomorrow. That's about it. Just chillaxing really.

Peace x

Thursday 16 October 2008

This week really.

Mer, cbb to do one of these each day because they're all pretty much the same. Wake up, have a few lectures and seminars here and there, chill in someone's room all day, cook dinner, chill some more and sleep.

I met Katie's boyfriend yesterday. I thought he hated me. He doesn't seem to. That's good. I like him. He's really cool.

Last night was army night. So funny it was. I keep getting drunk but not feeling drunk at the time. It's only looking back when I realise it. None of us really had any army clothing but we made the best of a bad situation and I think we all looked pretty cool. :)

Luckily there was no hefty que for the venue last night so we went straight in, qued for a while for a drink so I bought two. So cheap. I bought the drinks at once to save us all queing. Four snakebites, two double soco lemonades, a shot of vodka and a redbull was only 18 quid. Pretty cheap in my opinion.

Headed downstairs for a rave. Was funny. I keep taking people's cameras to take photos of myself. It's great.

Everyone went off in different places, a few came home so me and Lindsey had a random dance in the middle of the dance floor then headed back to mine for some curly fries. On the way home I was bursting to pee. I was explaining to Lindsey that I wished I could just pee and keep walking (I didn't want to stop, we were cold) but if I did that I'd walk into my pee. We decided to do an experiment. I would walk backwards and pee. It was great. No pee anywhere. At all. Then as I was mid-way through my relief, a couple of people walked towards us so I quickly whipped it away and they walked all over my urine. Oh how we laughed. Gutted.

Got home, had the fries, chilled for a bit in the kitchen, then went to sleep.

That's it. Not a lot happened today really.

Got nothing to do until Monday now so it's time to chillax methinks! Grand.

Sunday 12 October 2008

The rest of my time in Romford

Saw Steve yesterday afternoon. It was cool. Hard to believe I'd only seen him a week before, it seemed like ages. I miss just chilling with him and going for drives. I saw Max as well. :) I love that dog.

Last night I went out with some of the theatre class. Started off with just me and Alex. I've missed that kid. She makes me laugh. We just chilled and stuff. Then Mips and Graham turned up and then Rob. We sat for a few drinks in the good old goose and then moved onto Yates'. Trudie's lot were in there for her birthday so I knew a hell of a lot of people. Saw people from school and stuff as well which was good! Nice to see a few familiar faces! Dean came and met us for half hour or so after he finished work as well. I just enjoyed being with the people I'm most comfortable with for a night out again. I miss that.

Today I went to asda with mum. She bought me so much food :). Should last a while. We just jammed it into the freezer here.

Nan came round and we all had a roast dinner.

Then we left home at about 6 to come back here. Mer. I dunno. I've been fine being here most of the time. I just didn't want to come back for some reason. I don't know what it is. I like my flat mates a lot and stuff. I wish we were all still living back home, I even miss the fact I could go into HSFC and just have my best friends there. It sucks and I miss everyone more than I thought. I miss how things were a few months ago.

Friday 10 October 2008

Canterbury Town and Rom-Town

Yo yo yo.

I don't remember where I left off so I'm going to start from yesterday (Thursdee).

Twas an okay day. Couple of lectures, nothing special. Naomi was well jealous of me in the lecture typing my notes up on the mac whilst she slaved away handwriting it all though haha. I think the entire lecture was jealous actually. My mac's fittttt.

Yesterday evening we went into town and for once I vowed not to spend money on alcohol because I'm so ridiculously broke. We went to the penny (pub) because on Thursdays it's pound a pint but it was barrrrrrrrrre hot and ting so we left and went to another pub. After that we went to a pub/bar thing which I've currently forgotten the name of. We all had a ticket for a free shot and stuf. It was cool and we sat outside talking and stuff. Then we came home.

Today I didn't do much. Woke up, made Katie teach me how to fry an egg to which George laughed as when I cracked it it went all weird. Then Laura and Rachel came down for the day. It was cool. We went to origins and I had a burger and the really nice curly fries. Then we chilled for a bit and drove home. Back to Rom-town.

So strange it was, driving back into Essex and stuff. Was just really weird.

I went out to the pub with Imojen tonight. It was really cool seeing her. I miss her. We went to the good old goose for a bit and then onto bull with her mates. I only bought one drink the whole night. Some guy i'd never met who knew all Imojen's mates bought me a snakebite and another of their friends bought me a shot. That was nice.

I wore my UKC hoodie all night. I never want to take it off. Some guy told me he was driving there tonight to see his girlfriend.

Flat 4 is apparently empty with only two or three people there. That'd suck. I think coming back has made me realise that as much as I miss everyone SO much, everyone else is all over the place going through what I am, so coming back here doesn't make a difference to me missing people, because I won't see a lot of them anyway.

I'm glad I came this weekend though.

This is another boring one. I'm too tired to give the 'funny' little jokes that have happened, or to type some random lyrics I like.

Peace x

Thursday 9 October 2008

80's Night...

...was really good. :).

I had a lot of fun. It was good to get out with the flat mates and just forget everything and the stuff that's been bothering me for a night.

We all got dressed up in less-than-80's clothes but actually looked quite good for clothes that wouldn't particularly strike you as being from the era. Haha. I sound weird. Yeah. The girls tried to put Ollie in one of their tops. He was going to wear it but opted for an 80's footballer instead haha. I wore my cool black 80's style sunglasses. I like them quite a lot.

On the way there we stopped off at one of the bars so Katie could say hello to her friend. On the way out we found one of them 'CAUTION! WET FLOOR!' things and so, we decided to be 'rebs' and steal it. The adrenaline rush was unexplainable. Haha. We hid it and vowed to pick it up on our return journey to flat four later that night. We did.

We had to que for barrrres to get into The Venue but when we did it was really good. I love student prices. I bought a snakebite, two vodka lemonades and a soco lemonade for 8 pounds. Wtf? So cheap.

At one point this girl came up to me and was like 'ARE YOU KERRY'S BROTHER?!' I was like 'erm...yeah...' turns out she's mine and my sisters oldest mates friend from school who knows my sister now. So weird. Apparently I'm Kerry's 'twin'. We don't even look alike. Mer.

We danced a lot. But then they started playing Take-That and Spice girls n stuff so I was less than impressed and just stood there. That was until they started playing uber cool songs like 'Do you really like it?' and 'Dance with me', I was in my element.

We chilled in the lighthouse for a bit and then came back and I made my drunken noodles. :). I didn't drop them or eat them off the floor this time. I can only do that when I'm with Steve.

So that's about it. I had a lecture at 10-11 and I have one from 3-4 and then I'm done for the weekend :).  Not sure what we're up to tonight. Either going to see Skepta (ONE GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE FOR YOU, TWO GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE FOR ME, THREE NOW DO THE ROLEX SWEEP...DO THE ROLEX SWEEP...DO THE ROLEX SWEEP...{I'm a master of that dance}) or going into town for 'pound a pint' at one of the clubs.  I'm really hungry but the cleaners here in the kitchen and I don't want to go out there after she shouted at Ollie. Oh no. Bert.

Anyways, that's all for now. I like these (I don't know why it's double spaced it)-

Take your time,

Coz you don't have to rush,

Coz it's your life and it's no-one elses,

Don't let someone put you in a box.

So I'll take all that other stuff that I said before,

and I'm gonna make it work,

because I'm losing my mind and it's driving me up the wall.

I'm stubborn and I'll shout and,

I'll cut you out and I'll,

I'll make you feel like,

I never wanted to make you feel.

But this time, it will be different,

This time yeah, it will be different,

This time, it will be different,

This time yeah, it will be different.

Peace x

Wednesday 8 October 2008

Feeeeeeling gooood

I have a really bad ear ache today and it hurts to swallow, yawn or cough. Not good when you're in a 10 o'clock lecture yawning and coughing because you have a cold. Merrr.

This week has been one of boredom really. First week of proper lectures and seminars (I say that but all my seminars have been boring introductions), and so everything has just taken a bit of a low because everyone's off out at different times, reading, stressing etc and it's hit us all that we're here to get a degree I think, the fun of freshers is over, it's time to knuckle down. It sucks. I hate it.

I have a lot of lectures and seminars with my flat mate Ollie's friend Naomi which is cool. We sit and laugh at each other. And in lectures always make notes but forget what the lecturers said so we glance over at each others pads to find that the other one has stopped at the exact same point. Ha.

We went to the bar that's by the accomodation that's about 10 minutes away from the main campus on Monday. Ollie drove 7 of us in his little car. Gutted to the 5 in the back whilst I got the luxury of front seat. :)

Last night we went for a meal and some drinks at one of the bars which was cool but I was really tired for a strange reason and so retreated to my room at about 10 haha.

Tonight is 80's night which should be cool and tomorrow we're either seeing Skepta on campus or going off campus to the club that's a pound a pint on Thursdays. Should be a good couple of nights. I have two lectures tomorrow. Mer. But then I'm done for the weekend and will be returning to Rom-Town. I'm not looking forward to Romford drink prices and so I doubt I'll go out and drink much.

I'm looking forward to seeing Imojen a lot and it would be nice to see Steve if we manage it.

That's about it really. Bit boring. Not a lot to say.

Peace x

Sunday 5 October 2008

Don't want to look at your face,

'coz it's making me sickkk...
...Oh my gosh, I can-not be bothered with this...
...and dear GOD, I hope I'm not stuck with this one...

Mer. Haven't done one for a few days so I am now.

I saw Wiley on Thursday. I don't remember if I wrote about this but it was a very good night actually. We had about a million people in our kitchen for pre-drinks and attempted a few drinking games. I was not a fan of arrogance because I kept losing and having to drink vial mixes. It got me nice and drunk though so that was good. We went to the venue and it was 2 pound for a double vodka. Now, I'm not a vodka kind of guy, but for a two pound double, I'd drink anything. So I drunk the vodka and got drunk.

It was really good. I enjoyed dancing to skepta and such alike but Wiley was a bit of a let down. We listened to rolex and came home. I made noodles and slept.

On Friday I did nothing. I have the day off. I cleaned and stuff. It was a boring day.

Yesterday Steve came to visit. I was really looking forward to it. However, meeting him was put off even longer due to the fact I waited an hour for the bus? Ridiculous. There was loads of traffic all the way from my uni to town, we were barely moving. I reckon it's coz of the open day. Stupid thing. I got off half way down the hill and walked to meet him. It was quicker.

We spent some time in town and I bought pink tights and some pants for my costume. It was heroes and villains night last night. After a nice stir fry enjoyed by me, Steve, Ollie, Katie and Zoe we started getting ready. Steve went as the joker and looked really good. He fit the part. I went as 'Romford Raver' my alter-ego and I liked my costume.

We had a few drinks here. Made ourselves a 'fish cup' each and then headed to the Venue before the others so I could sign Steve in. We spent some time in the lighthouse and bought some onion rings. We then headed downstairs to the club but just as we did some twat set the fire alarm off so we had to evacuate. We spent ages outside and decided to pack it in. We were drunk anyway and the que to get back in wasn't moving. We came back and I cooked noodles. They were nice until I picked the plate up and dropped it because it was hot. It fell and smashed. We eat some off the floor. Bad times.

Then we went to bed really. Steve was wasted so I had to get the girls to take his make-up off as he was flopping all over my bed. Oh dear.

He left today and I took him to the station at about half 12. Waited around a bit because his train wasn't arriving till 1. Then I left him so he could go to the platform.

So that's that.

Peace x

Thursday 2 October 2008

Domesticated Dean

Yesterday was not fun.

I woke up at 9.30 by the fire alarm. Got up and ready. Got to Lindsey's for about half 10 and we washed our clothes. There was no-one there so we used 3 machines. Gutted to everyone who tried to use them in the time we were. Had to wait 45 minutes so she cooked some beans on toast. She wanted egg but couldn't find her yellow frying pan. We chillaxed in her room and looked at the photo's of last week. Good times. Then we went and put them in the dryer and waited a further 45 minutes in which I don't even know what we did. Hers still weren't dry so we had to wait a bit longer. We located her yellow frying pan in this time also.

Then a few of us went to good ole asda to shop for food and what not. I spent more than i'd of liked but it'll last me a few weeks now so that's good. I like the bargains you find. Like six bottles of coke for 3 quid. Lee was gutted because he paid over a pound for one bottle the day before ha.

I came home and cooked a pizza. It was one of them nice fresh ones that you just have to put in the oven for 10 minutes. It was bbq chicken and I enjoyed it a lot.

I chillaxed last night whilst the girls went to salsa with some dirty perv and a few others went to the bar. I read a little of my sociology book and stuff. I also cooked some pasta all by myself. I've never done that before. I was really proud and it was nice but I cooked too much and it began to make me feel sick.

Today I have a lecture at 3-4 so I'm currently waiting around to leave for that. I have to spend 20 quid on course packs today. Sucks. Mer.

I just shouted out to George 'SHET UP' in a Vicky Pollard style to mock Zoe (she's from bristol like Vicky) and he said it back in the same accent. It's funny if you've heard George's normal accent.

Tonight we will go to the club and see Wiley and good times will be had.

I have the day off tomorrow so I can drink and not care much. :)

Sick.

Peace x
